Yesteryear Remembered
Drifted away, thinking of
our final, farewell dance
there was no love left
couldn't even feel your romance
it all drifted away
buried in so many years
nothing was left to the touch
everything got washed into tears
we were playing in the emptiness
of an old barren field
our heart became ripped
nothing was left to feel
it was all given up
even the night had lost the magic
all had washed away
to end very tragic
walking on a summer night
I feel like the only man
that's ever felt like this
this pain, you'll never feel or understand
yeah, I may still be around
but this pain never wants to end
all that love has finally disappeared
never to be seen again
The Warmth Of Spring
Spring gently begins to enter
Lost is the haunting iciness of winter
The birds are chirping their sweet song
Awaiting this season, it's taken so long
Roses refresh their beautiful glory
Buzzing bees play along this short story
The forgotten snow silently grieves
As sunlight dances upon the trees
The gentle breeze caresses young girls' hair
As lovely maidens dance without care
Gardens bloom as delicate children play
Soft lovers hold hands and carelessly stray
The warmth of spring covers Earth like a shawl
The warmth shall last until the ushering of
cruel Fall.
Fatal Love
I don't know what, caused you pain
or why it all went so wrong
I woke up standing in rain
the love was gone
we spent so much time
playing a love game
only to add to your crime
but you still haven't felt any shame
couldn't keep staying in disguise
had to get away
from all of those lies
to put an end to that play
it's never coming back
to be with us again
it's memory turned to black
when we reached the end
there is no way
to change that lost crime
we just have to leave that game
and move on to a new time
there is no need to fight the end
we can only move to a better life
to never let that come back to happen
besides, you could never be my wife
